Day 11 in the Thanksgiving Countdown is a themed craft. I love doing things like this but they often just sit and collect dust. This year, more than ever, I need a distraction and something to remind me to look at the beauty in nature is just the thing. It reminds me of when the kids were young and we ironed fall leaves between wax paper to hang against the window. Now, my teen daughter colors the included banner on the ipad before printing, but crafting is still crafting. However you decide, it’s a simple holiday craft to enjoy.
Another fun way to use the banner pieces is to color them, cut them out, and put names on each one for place cards. Later in the Countdown, I will be showing you how I make sturdy little place cards that can be saved from year to year.
That’s it for today. I am working ahead on social media chores so I can head to NH for the coming weekend.
