Easy Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls

My recipe for easy bread machine cinnamon rolls makes a light and fluffy cinnamon roll, loaded with cinnamon and sugar swirl and topped with cream cheese frosting that is as airy as a cloud. This is the nicest cinnamon roll recipe I have ever used. Over the years, I have tweaked it just how my family likes it. Thanksgiving morning, I start these rolls early enough that the house is filled with delicious smells when everyone else starts waking up.

If you have never worked with sweet dough, remember it is sticky and softer than normal bread dough. Don’t be afraid to use a little flour on your board when patting the dough into shape. A silicone mat would be a great tool for this.

Place the following ingredients into breadmaker on DOUGH setting

  • 1 Cup Milk Warm
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Cups Flour AP or pastry flour
  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 3 Tbsp Cinnamon

Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

Instructions

  • After completing the dough cycle, remove dough from bread maker onto a slightly floured surface.

  • Remove from oven and pipe whipped cream cheese frosting onto each roll. Serve warm.

These bread machine sourdough brown sugar rolls and the perfect solution. The kids had to split wood today and that means they needed the will to survive. Simply put, I bribed them with food and I don’t care who knows about it. Of course, that also meant I got to play around with recipes and if you have been reading long enough, you know I am always looking for an excuse to cook.

  • 4 stars
I love how straightforward and simple this recipe was and so easy to make with the bread machine. It was really yummy too. My only reason for giving 4 stars was that 10-12 minutes resulted in still raw cinnamon rolls. I had to bake 20-25 minutes and then they were great!

    • Awwww, thank you for saying this. My kids when I ask them if they want a treat ‘How about Cinnamon Rolls?’ Didn’t I JUST make them? LOL
