Whether you’re busy on the farm or just craving a touch of home-cooked goodness, this soup is your go-to. Let’s get cooking!

Crockpot Hamburger Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Brown the hamburger in a skillet with the onion and garlic. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Transfer the browned hamburger, onion, and garlic into the crockpot.
  3. Add the carrots, potatoes, diced tomatoes, beef broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add the frozen peas (and Worcestershire sauce if using). Stir well.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
