This is one idea that actually translated from the internet to real life very well. As you know, I am a canning jar nut. So, how fun would it be to take my lunch in a jar? Then, after I started, I just had to layer it all pretty inside. Sort of like vertical bento, right? Everything stays nice and fresh, some of it straight from the garden to the jar. I am excited to see how nice it looks in a bowl for lunch tomorrow.
The layers from bottom to top:
4 ounces chicken, cut into bite sized pieces
I layered all the meat and veg, then stuffed it as much as possible with chopped kale. Now, I have to bring a little squeeze bottle of dressing and I am done! Couldn’t be easier. NOM.
